Description

Job Purpose: Ensure that Dubai Health facilities adhere to the necessary standards, regulations, and best practices to maintain accreditation and compliance with relevant international standards, guidelines, and regulatory requirements by overseeing and managing processes related to quality assurance, accreditation, and compliance within Dubai Health facilities.Roles & Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert on accreditation and compliance matters, interpret and operationalize requirements and provide guidance and support to staff at all levels of the organization.Oversee the accreditation process including mock surveys and continuous readiness rounds for Dubai Health facilities, ensuring ongoing compliance with standards set by accrediting bodies.Develop and implement policies, procedures and other documents to ensure ongoing compliance with healthcare regulations such as Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Federal Authority of Nuclear Regulation (FANR) and accreditation standards such as Joint Commission International (JCI), Australian Council on Healthcare Standards International (ACHSI) and Accreditation Canada International (ACI) among others.Lead, coordinate and conduct internal audits and assessments at Dubai Health facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to regulatory and accrediting body requirements.Collaborate with various departments to ensure that the best practices are followed and all regulatory and accreditation requirements are met, and corrective actions and monitoring plans are developed to sustain improvements over time, especially following audits or surveys.Liaise with external auditors/surveyors and regulatory agencies, representing the organization in compliance-related matters.Stay Informed about changes in healthcare regulations and accreditation standards, interpret their impact on Dubai Health facilities, and implement necessary changes to ensure ongoing compliance.Verify and ensure timely reporting at all times as per regulatory agencies, accrediting bodies and organizational requirements across Dubai Health.Perform other duties as assigned or directed by the direct line manager to ensure smooth operations of the department.Qualification Requirements: Bachelor's in healthcare, Health Information Management, Science, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.Master's in healthcare studies or a related field.Experience Requirements: 5 years experience in the healthcare quality field in activities relevant to the role.2 years progressive experience in quality assurance or facilitating interdisciplinary improvement teams in a healthcare setting, or other relevant experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
