Join to apply for the Senior Frontend Engineer - Dubai role at Sokin We are looking for a passionate Senior Frontend Engineer to join our growing team in Dubai, helping us transform and scale our payments platform.This role involves ownership of the entire engineering lifecycle from concept to production, with a primary focus on backend development and contributions to the frontend.As a senior team member, you will influence technical direction, collaborate with stakeholders, and uphold high standards for code quality and performance. You will be responsible for designing, building, deploying, and maintaining scalable and reliable features and services.About Us Sokin is a leading B2B financial services provider enabling global payments and receivables. With a global infrastructure and industry partners, we are rapidly growing in the remittance sector.Key Responsibilities Manage the full software engineering lifecycle from design to deployment and maintenance.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to refine feature requirements.Lead architectural decisions ensuring scalability and maintainability.Establish monitoring and support processes for operational success.Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, security, and performance standards.Troubleshoot and respond to production issues to enhance system resilience.Design, develop, and maintain frontend components, including migration from Angular to React.Optimize application performance and resolve technical issues.Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.Required Qualifications At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience with end-to-end feature ownership.Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions.Experience managing development and operational aspects focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability.Excellent communication skills for collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders.Proactive approach to improvements and innovations.Experience in a senior role mentoring team members.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).Sokin is an equal opportunities employer committed to an inclusive environment.
