We operate across multiple regions, with a significant focus on expanding our presence in Sub-Saharan Africa.Position Overview We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our organization. The ideal candidate brings a wealth of international experience, particularly in the fintech sector. A proven track record in managing operations and scaling businesses in Sub-Saharan Africa is essential. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of consumer lending and payment systems, who can drive our companys growth and ensure operational excellence.Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the companys strategic vision and mission, driving growth and innovation in consumer lending and payments.Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the efficient delivery of financial services and the highest levels of customer satisfaction.Market Expansion: Lead the expansion of our services into new markets, with a strong emphasis on Sub-Saharan Africa, ensuring compliance with local regulations and adapting services to meet regional needs.Financial Oversight: Manage the companys financial health, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure sustainable growth and profitability.Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence across the organization.Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors, regulatory bodies, and key partners. Represent the company at industry events and forums.Technology Integration: Champion the adoption of cutting-edge technologies to enhance our service offerings and operational efficiency.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the companys operations and market expansion.Qualifications Education: A masters degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
