Technician - HVAC

What You Will Do The Technician will report directly to the Field Line Manager and will be based in Abu Dhabi. As part of the HVAC Aftermarket team, you will carry out centrifugal chiller operation & service, repair, and preventative maintenance, including cooling towers, pumps, SCADA systems, etc. The Key Role Of a Technician Perform daily service and maintenance tasks in line with company best practices. Operate, service, and maintain HVAC systems used for comfort and energy efficiency across large projects such as hospitals, retail, and commercial buildings. Coordinate with subcontractors to complete HVAC-related work on site. Plan, schedule, direct, monitor, and control service execution for consistency. Attend to critical infrastructure and ensure customer satisfaction. Identify business growth opportunities and service delivery improvements. How You Will Do It Utilize your HVAC technical knowledge to execute site operations and maintenance, conduct full dilapidation reports, inspect refrigeration and HVAC components, and recommend system upgrades or replacements as needed. Understand customer requirements and support the technical team in providing required services and repairs. Be determined and consistent, managing multiple priorities with excellent planning and time management skills. Required What we look for Knowledge of operation & maintenance of centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, pumps, & SCADA systems. Technical knowledge of HVAC systems, especially chillers, brazing, vacuum, and pressure testing. Ability to read and understand electrical single-line diagrams of HVAC systems. Experience in preparing reports and communicating effectively. Fluent in English. Education Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a 2-year vocational course in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. Experience Experience in operation and maintenance of York / Carrier / Daikin / Trane centrifugal chillers.
