With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients while adhering to the highest standards of safety and sustainability.Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Lead the on-site supervision and management of infrastructure and utilities works, including roads, drainage, water supply, electrical, telecom, and other civil works.Oversee and coordinate the activities of site engineers, inspectors, and technical staff, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and performance.Review and approve construction plans, method statements, and material submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations.Monitor contractor performance, resolve technical issues, and ensure timely project delivery within budget.Conduct regular site inspections, quality audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential project delays or safety risks.Prepare and present detailed progress reports, technical assessments, and project status updates to senior management and clients.Foster strong working relationships with clients, contractors, local authorities, and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth project execution.Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and project safety plans.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).Minimum of 20 years of experience in infrastructure and utilities supervision, with at least 10 years in a senior resident engineer or site supervision role within a construction consultancy in Abu Dhabi.In-depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi’s regulatory frameworks, municipal authority standards, and site inspection procedures.Strong technical expertise in civil infrastructure, utilities, and roadworks.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Professional registration (e.g., Chartered Engineer, Professional Engineer) is an advantage.As well as rewarding you with competitive pay, WSP offers standard benefits including first class medical cover, paid professional subscriptions.Be you, be happy - we strive to have a friendly and inclusive culture which respects and maximizes the contribution individuals can bring to WSP.
