Accountant

You will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller and responsible for the following: Management of accounts payable which includes recording of invoices from suppliers ( process non inventory purchases and matching vouchers, checking inventory & stock take adjustments)Submitting supplier payments to GM for approval and creating payment instructions using company’s online banking and responsible for handling banking related matters Responsible for the management of accounts receivable which includes checking sales integration in the system, booking debit notes, challenging import and sales support Specialist on accounts receivable Responsible for booking Fixed Assets and charging depreciation in accordance with company’s policy and keeping the records in FA register Preparing liquidity report and submitting the report on weekly basis to head office.Responsible for monthly multi-currency bank reconciliation and calculation of realised FX loss and gain and keeping a record of FX differences resulting from payments and receipts Assisting Sales Finance Analyst and Finance Manager with the preparation of budget and forecast Responsible for monthly payroll which includes posting payroll file, payroll entries and making payments to the employees.Responsible for reporting intercompany sales and purchase and creating invoices for services provided to the parent company.Analysing monthly P&L and creating month end journals making sure that they are in line with the monthly trend.Responsible for the management of various balance sheet accounts and their reconciliation making sure that schedules are prepared for balance sheet accounts and they tie with the GL balance.Assist external and internal audits during yearly/interim audit and other external parties To be successful you must have/be: Bachelor Degree as a minimum qualification3 years in statutory accounting experience in a similar role in a large company Local and IFRS accounting knowledge FOREXJDEdwards (Peoplesoft Enterprise One) finance, inventory, fixed assets modules know how is a plus Sense of priorities, proactivity and autonomy About The Company Manpower Professional, a division of Manpower Inc., offers comprehensive, expert recruitment services backed by award winning training, assessment and selection and outsourcing.
