Environmental Engineer/Scientist (Abu Dhabi)

The role is based in the UAE (Abu Dhabi) with a focus on offering support to WKC’s EIA and environmental permitting services.Responsibilities Preparation of commercial and technical proposals under direction of your line manager EIA Report writing for Projects located in the UAE and KSA, including any specialist inputs to impact assessment, e.g., terrestrial ecology and soil and groundwater impact assessments Preparation of Environmental Management Plans (such as CEMP and OEMP)Offer support to line manager on EIA reports and Project Management Interpretation of terrestrial ecological / soil and groundwater baseline survey reports and technical modelling studies for input into EIA reports Candidate Requirements At least 1-2 years of previous experience in environmental consultancy with involvement in EIA development Degree/Diploma in environmental engineering / environmental science or related disciplines Excellent report writing skills for preparation of technical reports Excellent proficiency in MS Office Suite Familiarity with UAE (Federal, Abu Dhabi and Dubai) Environmental Regulations and KSA Environmental Regulations Ability to interface with clients Attention-to-detail, meticulous organisational skills Abilities to multi-task and meet stringent deadlines UAE driving license (if residing in the UAE)Added benefit: Applicants currently reside in the UAEAdded benefit: Previous experience with soil and groundwater and/or terrestrial ecology disciplines #J-18808-Ljbffr
