Responsibilities Provide individualized academic advising to help students achieve their educational goals. Advocate for student needs and provide resources to aid their academic journey. Requirements Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, counseling, or related field is required. Master's degree in counseling or a related field is highly preferred. Minimum of two years experience in academic counseling or a similar educational role. Strong knowledge of academic processes, systems, and student management software. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse students. Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders. Proven ability to handle sensitive student information with confidentiality and discretion. Solid organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Experience with career assessment tools and career guidance methodologies.
