Student Life and Community Engagement Manager

The American University in the Emirates is searching for a Student Life and Community Engagement Manager who will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the delivery of services related to campus life, student activities, grievances, scholarships, and financial aid.Qualifications & Experience Master's Degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or related field from an accredited university Minimum 5 years of related experience in an educational institution or similar environment Preferably bilingual (fluent in English and Arabic)Skills / Training / Knowledge Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong leadership skills High confidentiality and ethical standards Knowledge of university programs and operations, including administrative and academic affairs (preferred)Professionalism in interactions with students, faculty, and staff Adherence to institutional codes of conduct and acting as a role model Job Responsibilities Manage office goals and operational planning to align with university objectives Manage the office budget Develop and lead a responsive student support team Oversee financial support services, including aid, scholarships, and grants Implement student engagement initiatives such as orientation, social events, clubs, and trips Develop student recognition programs Oversee the Athletics Office Develop community engagement opportunities Build relationships with student sponsors and respond to their needs Manage the student grievance process in accordance with university policies Support student organizations and provide guidance as needed Secure funding to support university missions and initiatives Engage with current and prospective donors Perform additional duties as assigned About AUEThe American University in the Emirates (AUE) is located in Dubai International Academic City and offers a vibrant environment for learning and growth.
