OD Initiatives & Performance…We are seeking an experienced and technically sound Senior Mechanical Engineer to oversee the MEP works of our Gateway project in JVC .The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience from the UAE construction sector, with a strong understanding of local authority regulations, project coordination, and quality control.1.Serve as a liaison between Consultant and Contractor, ensuring seamless communication and prompt resolution of technical issues.2.Lead and coordinate the work of MEP contractors and their subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.3.Review mechanical designs and ensure proper execution of HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and drainage systems.4.Conduct thorough checks of shop drawings, materials submittals, and method statements.5.Ensure all works comply with DEWA, SIRA, DCD, and other relevant Dubai Municipality and Trakhees/local authority regulations.6.Handle authority inspections, NOCs, and approvals as per project requirements.7.Monitor site execution to ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, project specifications, and safety standards.8.Verify and certify contractor invoices, payment applications, and material quantities.9.Prepare progress reports, inspection reports, and punch lists for final project handover.10.Maintain updated logs and ensure complete documentation is available for audits and approvals.1. Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering2. 6–7 years experience in building construction (at least 4 years in Dubai)3. Hands-on exposure to high-rise projects4. Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations5. Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory6.
