Global Sales Director - Chip Design & Manufacturing

Our client is a globally recognised innovator in advanced semiconductor technology , delivering next-generation solutions for System-on-Chip (So C) design and manufacturing . As part of their strategic growth plans, the company is seeking a Global Business Development Director to lead the commercial expansion of its licensable IP and platform technologies across international markets.Develop and execute the company's global business development strategy, focusing on IP licensing, strategic partnerships, and new market penetration.Lead complex commercial engagements with semiconductor manufacturers, foundries, design houses, and OEMs across North America, Europe, and Asia.Identify, structure, and negotiate licensing agreements, joint ventures, and technology collaborations aligned with the company's long-term roadmap.Act as a key commercial interface between engineering, product development, and executive leadership to shape go-to-market strategies based on customer needs and technological capabilities.Establish and grow a high-quality global customer pipeline, leveraging market intelligence, competitor analysis, and industry insights.Represent the company at major industry forums, customer events, and investor briefings, positioning the brand as a leader in So C innovation.Strong technical background (e.g., degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar), with deep knowledge of So C architecture, semiconductor design, and manufacturing processes.Minimum 10+ years of business development, strategic sales, or commercial leadership experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably with IP/licensing-based business models.Proven ability to close high-value licensing deals and develop long-term strategic relationships with Tier 1 clients.Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a global mindset.Willingness to travel internationally as required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
