Senior Legal Counsel - Real Estate & Construction

RAYNE Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates We are seeking a commercially minded Senior Legal Counsel to join our client on a 6 month in-house secondment based in Abu Dhabi. This role will support large-scale residential and commercial projects across the Emirates and requires hands-on legal expertise in both real estate and construction matters.You will advise internal stakeholders across land acquisition, off-plan developments, construction, leasing, and regulatory compliance, with direct exposure to senior business teams and high-impact projects.Qualifications: • 5–10 years PQE, admitted in a common law or regional jurisdiction.• Extensive experience in real estate and construction law within the UAE or GCC.• Strong knowledge of FIDIC and bespoke construction contracts, as well as real estate transaction structures (SPA, lease, off-plan sales).• Experience liaising with DLD, RERA, Dubai Municipality, and other UAE regulatory bodies.• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage multiple concurrent projects.• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills highly preferred.• Previous in-house experience within real estate development or infrastructure sectors preferred.If you are looking for a fixed term assignment in the Middle East, we would love to hear from you!Company Description RAYNE is changing the way leading multinationals, start-ups, and government entities across the Middle East access high-calibre legal talent through flexible resourcing solutions.
