Instrumentation and Control Engineer - Dubai Direct message the job poster from NOVARGINOVARGI is a specialized Process Package and Plant Contractor delivering innovative engineering solutions to the global energy sector since 2004.With headquarters in Spain and engineering centers in India, China, and the Middle East, we lead projects across the Upstream, Downstream, Circular Economy, and Energy Transition markets.As part of our strategic expansion in the region, we are currently seeking a motivated Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Engineer to join our new office in Dubai DMCC.The I&C Engineer will be responsible for the design, specification, and coordination of instrumentation and control systems for projects such as Fired Heaters, Reformers, Skid-Mounted Packages, Gas Processing Plants, and Incineration Systems. This role supports the I&C Engineering Supervisor and plays a critical part in delivering high-quality, timely engineering solutions.Execute basic and detailed I&C engineering tasks under supervision Prepare and maintain instrument datasheets, technical specifications, and related design calculations Develop wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, and support documentation for connection boxes and control panels Assist in developing control and safety logic diagrams for PLC/DCS implementation Generate cable schedules, tray layouts, and routing diagrams Ensure smooth coordination with mechanical, electrical, and process engineering teams Interface with vendors for technical clarifications and documentation Support in preparing MRQs, scope of supply, and technical bid evaluations Track and manage vendor documentation and internal review cycles using ERP systems Participate in FATs, inspections, and technical meetings as needed Provide support during installation, commissioning, and start-up phases Report on task progress, challenges, and coordination issues to the I&C Supervisor Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (Automation, Instrumentation & Control, or Electronics preferred)4–8 years of experience in Instrumentation & Control Engineering for Oil & Gas or related sectors Hands-on experience with Auto CAD, Microsoft Office, and industry-relevant tools Exposure to PLC/DCS systems (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and control system design Understanding of control architectures, SCADA, DCS, and Safety Systems (SIS, ESD)Familiarity with Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI/Intools) and P&ID development Experience working in an EPC or industrial plant project environment Professional English (spoken and written); Arabic is a plus Availability to travel internationally for project support and coordination Why Join Us?If you’re passionate about creating better engineering solutions for a sustainable energy future, NOVARGI offers you the opportunity to grow within a dynamic and global environment.
