As a key member of our construction management team, you will oversee bridge construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.Lead and supervise construction crews on bridge projects, coordinating daily activities and assignments Interpret and implement blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project timelines Monitor and control project budgets, materials, and equipment usage Conduct regular quality inspections and implement corrective actions as needed Train and mentor junior team members, promoting a culture of safety and excellence Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports and time sheets Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure smooth project execution Adapt to the unique challenges of construction projects in the Dubai environment Qualifications5-7 years of experience in bridge construction, with a proven track record of successful project completion Extensive knowledge of bridge construction techniques, structural engineering principles, and construction materials Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation Excellent leadership abilities with experience in managing and motivating construction crews In-depth understanding of safety regulations and OSHA standards Proficient in operating and overseeing the use of various construction equipment Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred OSHA certification Ability to adapt to the unique construction environment and regulations in Dubai, United Arab Emirates Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to various project sites as needed Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Industries Civil Engineering Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Egis by 2x Power Plant Process Control and Automation Section Head Head of Portfolio Construction & Risk, Asset Management We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
