Join our team at DHL Group.DHL Global Forwarding, Freight (DGFF) is the Group's air, ocean, and road freight specialist, offering standardized and specialized end-to-end solutions globally.Position: Ocean Freight Intern in Abu Dhabi In this role, you will provide administrative support for OFR Operations/Customer Service processes, facilitating the flow of goods and information across the supply chain, maximizing profitability, and aligning with business strategies and policies.Key Tasks Support ocean freight forwarding processes under supervision Assist with operational requirements, customer visits, tariff queries, and routine tasks such as data processing and documentation Gather input for freight control and operational instructions Support freight rate determination and customer relationship management Contribute to shipping tenders, shipment documentation, and performance reports Follow established processes and escalate issues as needed OFR Product Support Create and confirm transport orders, optimize bookings Prepare and distribute import/export documents Identify and resolve supplier performance issues Update customs information and resolve customer issues Stakeholders and Management Interact mainly with team members Communicate clearly with minimal interpretation Operate as an individual contributor without direct leadership responsibilities Qualifications & Requirements Vocational/Technical Certification Less than 2 years of experience Skills Routing, Shipping, Carrier Management, Third Party Logistics, Ports, Ground Transportation, FCL, LCL, Cold Chain, Bill Of Lading, English, Tracking, Regulations, Import Export, Customs Brokerage, Customs Regulations, CRM, Telecommunications, Budgets, Microsoft Excel, Technology Trends, DHL Business Knowledge, Business Processes, Stakeholder Management, Feedback What We Offer Global opportunities to contribute and grow Career development prospects Competitive salary Why Join DHL Global Forwarding?Part of DHL Group, operating in over 220 countries, with a focus on talent development and a positive work environment.
