Description
Conduct thorough inspections and tests to determine the root cause of mechanical performance issues.Perform repair and maintenance tasks, including disassembling and overhauling engines and gearboxes, repairing, and replacing faulty components, fuel systems, ignition systems, cooling systems, etc.Identify and order necessary parts for repairs or replacements, ensuring accurate documentation.Adhere to manufacturer-recommended service and maintenance schedules for outboard motors.Conduct thorough testing and performance checks after repairs to ensure proper functionality and adherence to quality standards.Verify that repaired engines meet or exceed customer expectations.Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used.Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.Desired Candidate Profile High school diploma or equivalent.Technical training or certification in marine mechanics or a related field.In-depth knowledge of outboard and inboard engines, their components, and their operation.Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in outboard motors.Familiarity with diagnostic tools.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with customers and team members.Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and tasks.Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
