Direct message the job poster from Gargash Group The Senior Architecture Manager leads the end-to-end design process across all projects within GRE. This job is responsible for ensuring that designs align with the group’s vision, meet market demands, operational needs, budgetary guidelines, and innovate design principles while adhering to industry standards and regulations. The Senior Architecture Manager is also responsible for managing multidisciplinary third-party design vendors and consultants to develop concepts and oversee the execution of design projects from inception to completion including preparation of necessary design studies and options to assess the feasibility of projects to ensure they meet business goals and stakeholder expectations.Key accountabilities and responsibilities: • Lead the multidisciplinary team of architects and designers, from project inception through to completion, ensuring that all stages adhere to architectural principles, codes, regulations, and company standards.• Prepare the design services procurement plan, including requests for proposals; review and assess professional services fee proposals; and negotiate the award of professional services contracts to architects, designers, and specialist consultants.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, engineering, construction, and senior leadership, to ensure architectural solutions meet project feasibility, comply with zoning laws and building codes, enhance, aesthetic, and functional aspects of the real estate development, and maintain business requirements.• Develop and implement long-term architectural strategies that align with the company’s goals, ensuring scalability, innovation, and sustainability across all projects.• Oversee and manage relationships with statutory authorities, external design vendors, contractors, and consultants.• Ensure effective communication and alignment with project goals and timelines, and foster collaboration to leverage external expertise for the successful completion of projects.• Lead the development of feasibility studies for new architectural projects, assessing design viability, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business goals.• Provide expert input to guide decision-making at early stages.• Conduct thorough reviews of architectural designs, blueprints, and technical documentation, ensuring accuracy, adherence to quality standards, and regulatory compliance. During the construction stages, oversee the execution of the works to confirm their compliance with design direction and project goals.• Manage the architectural design budget, ensuring resource allocation aligns with project needs. Monitor costs to ensure design work stays within financial constraints without compromising quality.• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, architectural trends, and advancements in design practices. Continuously seek out opportunities for innovation in design and construction methodologies.• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing architectural team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.• Conduct regular project evaluations, identifying risks, bottlenecks, or potential issues.
