We offer standardized transport as well as highly specialized end-to-end solutions to customers in a wide range of industries globally.DGF UAE has an opening for Customer IT Implementation - WMS Specialist role in Dubai, United Arab Emirates Join us in connecting people and improving lives!Job Purpose Support to develop and administer IT user support plans and processes to provide technical support for hardware and software related systems and implement Internal and Customer/User integration solutions in line with business strategy and objectives, and Group guidelines and policies Key Tasks Support administration of IT user support plans and processes to effectively resolve user hardware and software problems Undertake activities to install, support and maintain Customer Access hardware and software with problem solving when required by external customers Resolve customers issues on all aspects of end-user computing and desktop-based systems software Log, assign, respond to and resolve incidents/ service requests in a timely manner and according to agreed standards and procedures Ensure log entries of user contact provide a corpus knowledge for the resolution of subsequent faults and problems Execute active directory domain for user account and system management Support implementation of Internal and Customer/User integration solutions Perform intermediate administration tasks on HP UX systems Deliver regular ticket quality review related to assigned customer area of responsibilities Escalate tickets and improve awareness, communication and procedures across departments Deliver scheduled Local Area Network (LAN) software upgrades ensuring integrity of LAN software and hardware Facilitate training for new & current staff to keep IT support team up-to-date and informed Identify and resolve recurring issues, and suggest modifications for IT user support work methods focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency May provide functional guidance, advice or training to less experienced positions Stakeholders May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own function Build relationships and understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns Address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships Management Responsibility Individual contributor without direct responsibility for leading others Skills Technical Support, Help Desk Support, Telecommunications, Software Installation, Incident Management, Troubleshooting, Disaster Recovery, SQL Programming, Computer Hardware, IT Infrastructure Library, Databases, Operating Systems, Lan, Domains, Network, Wireless, Sharepoint, Servers, DHL Business Knowledge, Business Processes, Business Strategy, Market Research, Project Management, Stakeholder Management, Influencing, Feedback, Presentation & Storytelling, Facilitation Qualifications & Key Requirements Education Level Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification Experience Level More than 2 years We offer: Opportunities in a global company where you can contribute your ideas and skills to move towards our shared goals.Possible further career development Competitive salary Why join DHL Global Forwarding?We are part of DHL Group, the world’s leading logistics provider with operations in over 220 countries.
