We are the ones to bring low-carbon concepts to reality.What we can offer Meaningful and interesting projects: Delivered to high profile clients across the Energy Sector Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: We are an organization actively committed to diversity and inclusion across our business Competitive remuneration package: With regular reviews to ensure we are rewarding at the right level in line with the market RESPONSIBILITIESKey Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Undertake I & C design work of units as required, supervise and check works of assigned engineers on the project as appropriate Execute Instrumentation engineering activities within the budget and schedule, as well as maintaining technical integrity of the design Ensure that detail design methods, standards and data used conform with Client's requirements and / or those issued Competent in the use of relevant software and Instrumentation & Control discipline specific software.Review and approve I & C Diagrams, P&IDs, PSFS, DPTDs, Equipment & Instrument specifications, Instrumentation Descriptions, cause, and Effect chart etc.Review and approve dynamic simulation study, transient study, surge study, Minimum Metal Design Temperature (MDMT) study, etc.Review and approve depressurization studies, flare load estimation and flare system design Ensure a high standard of safety is achieved and Environmental and Quality Assurance procedures are followed Review and approve safety related calculations and provide input to HAZOP, SIL and other safety reviews as require Identifying new methodology of work instrumentation required for higher productivity Contribute where necessary to review of supplier quotations and reviews of the project Ensure that requirements of Licensor's Secrecy Agreements are known and complied within the work performed Participate in technical meetings and handle discussions with client engineers Identification of issues that impede project progress and reporting to Project Managers, Engineering Manager / Discipline heads Be willing to mentor and engage in the training and development of junior engineers in the team Assist project team in the preparation of planning package, scheduling, weekly reporting etc.Assist as required in the preparation of pre - commissioning, commission procedures and operating Manuals Provided assistance in Manhours estimation and scheduling for proposals QUALIFICATIONSSkills And Qualifications What makes you remarkable?At Wood, we are committed to equal opportunities and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team. It will take all of us working together to deliver solutions to the world's most critical challenges.Expected: Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of ten (10+) years of relevant experience in the Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas industry, including minimum (5) years (preferred) in GCC region.Must have at least Ten (10) years of experience in similar position in a mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects Experience in Instrumentation Designing.Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software Experience of working in a multi - project / multi - disciplined environment and throughout all engineering and design phases of projects Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage Company Industry Department / Functional Area Keywords Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
