Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Mechanical)Nationality Any Nationality Any Vacancy1 Vacancy Job Description Job Purpose: The Estimation Engineer – Mechanical is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical components of infrastructure and utility projects, primarily focused on potable water networks, sewerage systems, pumping stations, and treatment facilities. The role involves analysis of tender documents, preparation of BOQs, cost estimation, and coordination with engineering and procurement teams.Key Responsibilities: · Pricing of Infrastructure Tenders is mandatory· Reviewing projects specifications, design drawings,· Analyzing technical designs, and developing standard models for cost estimation· Preparation of request for quotation package along with compliance statement· Preparation of technical clarifications and conducting the site visits and prepare the needed reports· Reviewing and analyze required Equipment and Manpower and prepare a proper estimate for the direct cost· Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and technical details.· Evaluate technical and commercial aspects of quotations to ensure alignment with project needs.· Support the proposal team in preparing competitive bid packages and tender submissions.· Coordinate with engineering and design departments to validate cost estimates.· Assist in value engineering and cost optimization proposals for ongoing and future tenders.· Maintain and update a cost database, rates, and historical project data.Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.Minimum 5–10 years of experience in estimation, preferably in infrastructure and utility projects (potable water, sewerage).Proven experience with local and international tendering procedures.Strong knowledge of relevant standards, codes, and material specifications.Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), Auto CAD, and estimation software such as CCS Candy, Primavera, or equivalent.Experience working with government and municipal entities is an advantage.Employment Type Full Time Company Industry Construction Civil Engineering Department / Functional Area Contract Management Quantity Surveying Keywords Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
