This role serves as the primary link between the Marketing Company (MC) and Operations, ensuring seamless communication and alignment with our strategic goals. As an expert in demand management, the MCAM leverages Astra Zeneca's commercial strategies, supply resources, and operational capabilities to drive business insights and create supply solutions that support our bold ambitions.In this role, you will work closely with Commercial and Finance teams to balance demand and supply plans, proactively addressing challenges and opportunities. Your expertise will help shape the future of our supply chain, ensuring that we meet the needs of patients and healthcare providers worldwide.Adhering to Astra Zeneca's Code of Conduct and key global policies, including the Global SHE Policy, Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption Policy, and People Policy, is essential. If you manage people, you'll also follow the Manager Accountabilities Framework to lead with integrity and excellence.What you ll do Global Supply Chain Planning: Support the global supply chain planning process, including parameter setting, master data quality, governance, arbitration/allocation setting, business continuity plans, and new product launch planning.Demand Management: Contribute to all four principles of demand management (planning demand, communicating demand, influencing demand, and prioritizing/managing demand) and ensure market intelligence is captured and documented.Forecast Validation: Accountable for forecast validation and challenging, customer service level targets, and collaboration related to supply issue management/product availability.Balanced Scorecard Strategies: Ensure that all relevant Marketing Company (MC) balanced scorecard strategies and priorities are supported.Operations Strategies Representation: Represent Operations strategies related to product enhancements and improvements, such as packaging initiatives, product security, and asset strategy.Business Links and Relationships: Develop strong business links, relationships, and influence with the Marketing Company at various levels.Customer Service Level Agreements: Set and review customer service level agreements with Commercial annually.New Product Launch Volumes: Partner with MC stakeholders regarding the development of new product launch volumes, pipeline fill, asset change, and product discontinuation volume management.Forecast Quality Performance: Drive improvements to forecast quality performance through collaboration with the MC.Supply Chain Monitor Process: Execute responsibilities in the Supply Chain Monitor process for stock-out management and reporting.Essential for the role Extensive Experience: At least 10 years of work experience in supply chain management, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.Strong Business Acumen: Proficiency in business planning, analysis, and cross-functional team experience.Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate and present information.Project Management Skills: Capability to set goals, plan, and manage projects efficiently.Certifications: Holding a CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification is preferable.Regional Knowledge: Familiarity with MEA (Middle East and Africa) markets and healthcare systems.Leadership and Influence: Ability to develop strong business links and influence at various levels within the organization.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to validate and challenge forecasts and demand volumes.Customer Service Orientation: Experience in setting and reviewing customer service level agreements.Compliance and Governance: Adherence to company policies and governance processes.Desired for the role MEA markets knowledge Knowledge of health care system or experience with pharmaceutical business Above Country / Regional project management experience Involvement in previous regional roles/ tasks is desired Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
