Structural Engineer

Atkins R alis is looking for a Structural Engineer Towers (Site Supervision) in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Responsibilities: Provide expert guidance and oversight on all structural engineering aspects of high-rise building projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards. Collaborate with design and construction teams to review structural drawings, specifications, and calculations. Conduct site inspections to assess structural integrity, identify risks, and propose solutions. Monitor the progress of structural works on-site, ensuring adherence to designs, specifications, and quality standards. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve structural issues during construction. Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals related to structural works. Conduct structural assessments and recommend modifications as needed. Prepare reports, documentation, and correspondence related to structural activities. Act as a technical liaison with project team, clients, and authorities for structural queries. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's is a plus. PE license or equivalent certification preferred. Minimum of 10+ years of experience in structural engineering, focusing on high-rise towers in the UAE. Proven track record with high-rise buildings of 70-80 floors. Site supervision experience is essential. Knowledge of UAE building codes and construction practices. Proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, or similar software. Strong communication skills for liaising with teams and stakeholders. Understanding of site operations, safety, and construction methodologies.
