We are also engaged in designing and constructing electrical power projects, including High Voltage Substations, Cable Networks, and Transmission Lines.Job Purpose The HVAC Draftsman is responsible for producing detailed HVAC system drawings based on specifications from HVAC Engineers. Reporting to the Senior HVAC Engineer, the role involves preparing accurate HVAC layouts, including ducting, piping, air handling systems, and mechanical elements, ensuring compliance with local regulations and project specifications. The draftsman will collaborate closely with engineering and construction teams for timely and precise HVAC design delivery.Job Responsibilities Drafting & Documentation: Prepare detailed HVAC drawings for air conditioning, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems, including duct layouts, pipe routing, and equipment locations. Update drawings based on design changes and feedback. Use Auto CAD, Revit, or other software to produce accurate layouts, ensuring compliance with local codes (e.g., ADDC, ADM) and project specifications.Coordination & Collaboration: Work with HVAC Engineers to translate design concepts into technical drawings. Coordinate with other disciplines (electrical, plumbing, structural) for proper system integration. Assist in preparing as-built drawings post-installation.Quality Control & Accuracy: Review HVAC drawings for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to design intent. Verify dimensions, symbols, and annotations to prevent errors. Ensure designs meet HVAC standards and energy efficiency practices.Technical Support: Provide diagrams, schematics, and layouts for design, analysis, and installation support. Assist in preparing technical documentation for submissions, inspections, and validation.Job Requirements Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Proficiency in Auto CAD; experience with Revit is a plus.Knowledge of MEP systems and mechanical design interpretation.Understanding of mechanical sizing calculations, piping, ductwork, and fire systems.Fluency in English (written and spoken).Experience Minimum 5 years as a Mechanical Draftsman in MEP projects.Experience with large-scale project drawings, working with design engineers.Proficiency in Revit and Auto CAD for MEP projects.Knowledge & Skills Expertise in HVAC drafting and design, including ducting, air distribution, and equipment placement.Proficient in Auto CAD and Revit MEP for 2D and 3D modeling.Knowledge of duct sizing, airflow, and energy-efficient HVAC design.Familiarity with HVAC system integration with other MEP systems.Understanding of green building standards (e.g., LEED), control systems, and code compliance.We seek talented individuals who align with our core values of care, commitment, and vision.
