Oversee all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery, while contributing to strategic development and optimizing resources to achieve business objectives.Key Accountabilities Contribute to the development and alignment of departmental strategy with overall business objectives, ensuring effective integration into policies and procedures.Assist in business development by reviewing technical evaluations, scoping, resourcing, and pricing of proposals to support successful submissions and business growth.Set individual objectives, manage performance, and provide feedback and appraisal to maximize team performance and overall effectiveness.Supervise team activities, addressing queries and ensuring all work is carried out professionally and timely.Support department head in defining an optimal organizational structure and implementing delegation of authority for efficient resource utilization and communication.Prepare and monitor section budgets, identifying and addressing areas of unsatisfactory performance and seeking opportunities for improvement.Collaborate on weekly workload planning with team supervisors, proactively managing tasks and resources for efficient operations.Oversee project briefs, scope, quality plans, and design standards, ensuring projects are effectively managed and client requirements are met.Manage design changes and modifications to deliver appropriate solutions for clients.Supervise the tendering process, including evaluations, to submit quality, competitive proposals and support engineers as needed.Maintain strong relations with suppliers, negotiate and optimize costs while ensuring quality standards.Identify, mitigate, and report project-specific risks, ensuring effective monitoring and resolution.Supervise project implementation, monitor progress, adhere to plans, resources, and budgets, and escalate variances or issues to the line manager.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including technical heads, to gather necessary inputs and ensure smooth project execution.Oversee project documentation, including BOQs, progress reports, and budget variances, ensuring accurate administration and informed decision-making.Act as liaison between customers and project team members, ensuring satisfactory communication and timely issue resolution.Develop and maintain proactive relationships with internal and external authorities, representing the company at meetings and seeking areas for service improvement.Manage client expectations through clear communication, transparent work practices, and identify opportunities for additional work. Conduct audits of staff, customers, and suppliers for feedback and satisfaction monitoring.Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.Prepare timely and accurate departmental statements and reports to meet and department requirements, policies and standards.Abide by the Health, Safety, Energy, Environmental and Quality, (HSEEQ) policy, procedures necessary for the good conduct and safety of the workplace. It is a requirement and moral obligation of each employee to be actively committed and accountable to the compliance of Enova’s HSEEQ policy, operating procedures, as well as being compliant to local legislation. The Employee shall seek clarification and guidance in specific cases or whenever one feels necessary.Develop a pro-active working relationship with all authorities and assist in establishing areas for service improvement.Present the Board as per requirements for reporting, controls, corporate governance, deployment of strategy.
