The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial markets, risk management principles, and regulatory requirements.Tasks: Investment and Liquidity Risk: Conduct thorough assessments of investment portfolios and financial products held in the client portfolio and establish a robust investment risk monitoring framework.Utilize quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze market trends, evaluate investment strategies are rightly aligned from forward looking perspective to assess potential risks.Establish a right benchmark and monitor the portfolio performance not only from return perspective but volatility associated with the portfolio as compared to benchmark.Mitigating the asset selection risk by establishing the right stop loss threshold for underlying constituents of the portfolio to minimize tracking error and drawdown risk.Establish a proper asset classification framework to categorize assets into High Risk, Medium Risk and Low Risk category within the investment domain.Aligning the investment profile statement of the client to ensure right disclosure to the client regarding anticipation of the return and volatility associated with the returns in future.Liquidity Risk Management: Monitor daily liquidity positions and ensure compliance with internal limits and regulatory requirements.Develop and maintain liquidity risk metrics.Prepare liquidity contingency funding plans and conduct liquidity stress testing.Identify funding gaps and propose strategies to mitigate liquidity risk.Reporting & Compliance: Prepare regular risk reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel III).Support internal and external audits related to investment and liquidity risk.Work closely with Treasury, Finance, and Compliance teams.Advise management on risk implications of strategic decisions and market developments.Qualification: Relevant experience of more than 5 years in Banks or Financial institutions.Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.Proven experience in investment or liquidity risk management, preferably in a banking environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in financial modelling and tools.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Other Industries Banking Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Emirates Investment Bank pjsc by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Investment Manager” roles.Equity L/S Portfolio Manager - Consumer Equities Investment Advisor/Portfolio Manager – based in Dubai Investment Professional, International Private Equity, Family Office, Dubai, UAESenior Specialist - Commercial & Investment Private Equity Portfolio Manager / CIO, Family Office, Dubai, UAEBusiness Support Manager - Wealth & Asset Management Investment and Strategic Partnership Associate / Manager We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
