Training & Development We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer with proven experience in structural engineering and a demonstrated commitment to quality control and compliance.Key Responsibilities Conduct daily site inspections for civil/structural works, including concrete works, steel erection, foundation systems, retaining structures, waterproofing, and precast installations.Verify contractor’s execution against approved shop drawings, IFC documents, method statements, and specifications.Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, RFIs, material submittals, and samples related to structural and civil works.Coordinate with the Resident Engineer, architectural, MEP, and safety teams to ensure integrated and conflict-free execution of works.Raise and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Site Observation Reports (SORs), and quality-related concerns.Support the authority inspections , by ensuring compliance and readiness of site documentation.Monitor contractor’s progress and workmanship; issue site memos when deviation from schedule or quality is observed.Supervise structural testing (e.g., slump test, cube test, rebar test) as per the ITP and project quality plan.Participate in snagging and de-snagging processes during project milestones and pre-handover stages.Personal Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering – master’s preferable.Holds Unlimited License in UAE.Excellent design skills and software skills - 3D design, STAAD‐Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, PROKON, ROBOT, Auto CAD, Revit, and other related design software.10+ years of Experience, experience with Consultant is a must Technical accuracy and attention to detail Problem-solving and decision-making under site pressure Strong documentation and reporting ability Leadership and assertiveness on site Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Industries Architecture and Planning Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at X Architects by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Civil Structural Engineer” roles.Site Engineer - (Structural Experience - Infra)Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates 13 hours ago Site Engineer - Mechanical -Dates Factory Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates 14 hours ago Project Engineer for Leading Dubai (Interior fit-out industry)Civil Project Engineer - High Rise Speacialist We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
