This role combines technical expertise, vendor management, emergency response, and project execution across the Emirate's infrastructure.Key Responsibilities: Oversee all maintenance operations for road lighting, traffic signal systems, and external ITS components Lead contract management, tendering, and technical evaluations for lighting & traffic system maintenance Manage planned upgrades, emergency technical responses, and resource mobilization for VIP projects Monitor contractor performance, enforce SLAs, and issue approvals or penalties as per RTA standards Supervise the commercial advertising functions linked to public infrastructure (power, inspection, compliance)Ensure proactive application of preventive and corrective maintenance aligned with safety and IMS standards Prepare maintenance schedules, project plans, and financial forecasts in coordination with internal departments Represent the department in inter-agency collaborations and stakeholder engagements Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized university Minimum 7 years of experience in road lighting, traffic systems, or public infrastructure maintenance Strong knowledge of lighting systems, electrical networks, and maintenance protocols Proven experience in contractor and consultant management, project planning, and risk mitigation Ability to lead large teams, coordinate across departments, and manage 24/7 emergency response teams Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder handling skills Computer proficiency and hands-on technical documentation and reporting experience Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Industry Government Administration Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Roads and Transport Authority by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Facilities Maintenance Manager” roles. #J-18808-Ljbffr
