Our customers walk out with new items every time they visit any of our stores.Position: Area Operations Manager – UAERole Purpose: The Area Operations Manager (Dubai-based) will oversee a cluster of stores within the UAE, ensuring seamless operations, optimal staffing, and performance excellence across all sites. This role requires strong operational leadership, team development, and market awareness, with the objective of achieving sales targets, maximizing efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction in line with BFL’s off-price retail strategy.Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end operational flow from the import of goods through shipping, warehousing, and local distribution within the UAE.Identify and propose new store locations within Dubai and other Emirates in alignment with strategic expansion goals.Oversee store fit-out and opening processes, coordinating with contractors and suppliers until handover.Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and training of store teams across the UAE in collaboration with HR.Full accountability for the Profit & Loss performance of all UAE-based stores under your remit.Ensure all retail locations uphold BFL’s visual merchandising standards, policies, and operational guidelines.Supervise store managers to meet sales targets and operational KPIs while maintaining stock integrity and minimizing shrinkage.Serve as the key liaison between Dubai HQ and UAE store operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Drive customer service initiatives, ensuring high service standards, issue resolution, and a consistently positive shopping experience.Conduct regular store visits to assess compliance with company protocols and support operational improvements.Train, mentor, and empower store teams to optimize performance and develop leadership potential.Handle daily operational needs including inventory audits, banking processes, and local store logistics.Support BFL’s UAE e-commerce operations by coordinating ground-level requirements and execution.Monitor competitor activity and provide Dubai HQ with timely market insights and trend reports relevant to UAE retail.Ensure full compliance with UAE labor laws, operational regulations, and safety standards.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a multi-store retail operations role, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity within the UAE.Proven track record in driving retail performance and managing P&L.Strong knowledge of local retail market dynamics, customer preferences, and regulatory landscape.Leadership experience in store team development, staff coaching, and performance management.Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering quality service and value.Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at BFL Group by 2x Get notified about new Retail Manager jobs in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates 20 hours ago Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates 17 hours ago Store Manager - Beauty
