Electrical Design Engineer

Independently develop and supervise the creation of electrical engineering designs for HV, MV, and LV systems and networks for large and mega infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with customer quality requirements, and international and local authority standards. Responsibilities Establish work scope, prepare budgets, and plan schedules. Provide technical direction and report on work status. Develop master plan reports, perform demand load calculations, size major equipment and circuits, and coordinate protection and tie-in point requirements. Understand dry utilities and infrastructure projects from concept to IFC stage, including preparing master plans, defining ROW requirements, and coordinating with utilities and design teams. Requirements Degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum of 4 years experience for Engineer, 8 years for Senior Engineer. Recent experience in HV, MV, and LV electrical design adhering to local and international standards. Experience with engineering software for power system analysis such as fault current and load flow studies is advantageous. Thorough knowledge of IEC standards and local authority standards in the GCC (e.g., DEWA, SEWA, FEWA, Civil Defense, Etisalat, Du). Experience in developing master plans from concept to detailed stages, including utility corridor space proofing and coordination with various utility and infrastructure teams. Strong infrastructure engineering background with experience in primary substations, HV and LV networks, and related report writing skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
