As a result our people get to enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world.Job Description We are seeking a skilled Reporting Analyst with deep expertise in Power BI to support data-driven decision-making in the electricity power transmission sector. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that provide insights into grid performance, asset health, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large datasets from EMS and asset management systems, and a strong understanding of power transmission operations.Key Responsibilities: Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor key metrics such as transmission losses, load forecasts, outage events, and asset performance.Integrate data from multiple sources including EMS, GIS, and ERP platforms into Power BI.Collaborate with engineers, planners, and regulatory teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable visualizations.Optimize Power BI data models for performance and scalability.Automate data refreshes and reporting workflows using Power BI Service and Power Query.Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards.Provide training and support to internal users on Power BI tools and best practices.Stay updated on Power BI features and industry trends to continuously improve reporting capabilities.Qualifications5+ years of experience in a reporting or data analysis role, with a strong focus on Power BI.Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query.Experience working with operational data in the energy or utilities sector.Strong understanding of power transmission systems and grid operations.Familiarity with SQL and data integration techniques Preferred Skills: Experience with EMS data and asset management systems (e.g., Maximo, SAP PM).Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics.Understanding of regulatory reporting requirements in the power sector.Familiarity with GIS tools and spatial data visualization.Additional Information Join our social media conversations for more information about Turner & Townsend and our exciting future projects: Twitter Instagram Linked In It is strictly against Turner & Townsend policy for candidates to pay any fee in relation to our recruitment process.
