Civil Lab Technician

Job Title: Civil Lab Technician We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Civil Lab Technician to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Civil Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in conducting various tests on construction materials and ensuring the quality and safety of civil engineering projects.Responsibilities: Coordinate with the site team for daily inspections and arrange third-party/DCL testing accordingly.Witness tests on-site with third-party labs in coordination with the Consultant Engineer.Handle samples in DCL/Third-party labs.Collaborate with subcontractors and labs for test reports.Maintain testing logs (e.g., FDT Concrete) daily.Record daily concrete pouring activities on-site.Ensure laboratory testing as per standards and requirements.Assist QA/QC Engineer with daily NMR/MIR inspections on-site.Qualifications: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a civil engineering laboratory setting.Proficiency in using various laboratory equipment and testing procedures.Strong knowledge of civil engineering materials and their properties.Familiarity with quality control standards and safety protocols.Ability to use data analysis software and prepare technical reports.Excellent attention to detail and measurement accuracy.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Relevant certifications in laboratory testing procedures (e.g., ACI ASTM) are preferred.Understanding of civil engineering principles and construction materials.Willingness to work in both laboratory and field environments.Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and samples as needed.Remote Work: No Employment Type: Full-time #J-18808-Ljbffr
