Senior Cost Manager Procurement The Senior Cost Manager Procurement will oversee the entire procurement process from project inception to completion, ensuring cost-effective strategies, compliance, and long-term value. This role involves managing procurement documentation, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with project teams to maintain timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Key Responsibilities: Bidder List Management and assistance in onboarding new Contractors/Consultants: Coordinate the end-to-end process of adding new contractors and consultants across all client projects, including gathering documentation, arranging site visits, and preparing assessment reports for management approval.Assist in preparing lists of recommended bidders for all packages and coordinate with the tendering team to ensure status updates are tracked.Maintain an up-to-date log of ongoing and completed bidder list activities for transparency and reporting.Liaise with the supplier management team to ensure timely registration and activation of newly added vendors.Assist management in applying effective vendor management practices supported by a strong network and understanding of the UAE contractor and consultant market.Initiate and support the procurement process by compiling and developing comprehensive tender documents for Prime Cost and Provisional Sum packages.Coordinate with the team to manage the full tender cycle, including issuance, addendums, and post-tender clarifications through the tendering portal.Evaluate received tenders and assist management with detailed comparisons and follow-up investigations as required.Support management in organizing and conducting meetings with vendors for tender clarifications and negotiations.Oversee internal approval workflows and ensure a smooth and timely handover of all tender-related documents to relevant project stakeholders.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and project timelines.Qualifications: Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering is required.UAE experience is essential.A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in Procurement, Tendering, or Quantity Surveying.Relevant experience with large-scale real estate developers, consultants, or contractors in UAE.Experience managing large projects valued over AED 500 million.Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) or equivalent qualification is preferred.Additional Information: Turner & Townsend is an equal opportunity employer.
