This role is key to enhancing product performance, reliability, and scalability.You will take ownership of core development efforts from hardware integration and traffic engineering implementations to automated testing pipelines and internal tooling while contributing to the optimisation of mission-critical, edge-deployed systems.You will work cross-functionally with software, hardware, and deployment teams to implement best-in-class system integration and accelerate product delivery. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable software with a focus on traffic engineering applications and hardware integration.Implement and maintain automated unit and integration testing pipelines to ensure system robustness and deployment reliability.Support and optimise embedded systems and hardware-software interfacing for real-time edge deployments.Develop and enhance internal development tools (e.g., debugging utilities, IDE integrations) to improve workflow efficiency.Contribute to establishing and upholding coding standards and refactoring efforts in collaboration with senior engineers.Improve system integration processes and proactively support production troubleshooting to enhance client responsiveness.Work on improving the CI/CD pipeline and deployment tools to accelerate delivery speed and ensure software stability.Independently manage critical product development tasks, helping reduce senior engineering bandwidth constraints.Assist with traffic controller integration and optimization, bringing system-level insights into practical implementation.Ensure quality, reliability, and scalability in all software deliverables through a testing- and performance-first mindset.Participate in code reviews and promote best practices across the engineering team.Core Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.3–5 years of professional experience in software development or embedded systems.Proficiency in C/C++ and Python, with a strong foundation in Linux systems.Demonstrated experience in building testing frameworks, QA automation, and maintaining software quality.Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software debugging techniques.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.Knowledge of networking and Io T protocols (e.g., V2X) preferred.Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and tools like Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes is a plus.Exposure to traffic engineering or traffic controller integrations is highly desirable.Nice-to-Have Skills : Background in embedded systems or hardware-software integration.Understanding of smart mobility technologies, such as V2X, ADAS, or autonomous vehicles.Experience with internal tool development (e.g., IDE enhancements, debugging tools).Prior exposure to cybersecurity and ML inference optimization is a plus.Join us in redefining the future of roadways and creating smarter, safer cities for everyone.
