OFFSHORE PIPING ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced Piping Engineerto join our Abu Dhabi-based design team for a high-profile offshoreoil and gas project in the Middle East. The ideal candidate willbring deep expertise in the design and execution of offshore pipingsystems with a focus on Detailed Engineering. This position offersa unique opportunity to work on a technically challenging andstrategically important project within a dynamic multiculturalengineering environment.Key Responsibilities: Develop and review piping design deliverables including PFDs P&IDs piping layouts isometrics and materialspecifications in accordance with project standards.Ensure compliance with applicable codes (ASME API ANSIetc.) client requirements and international standards.Perform pipe stress analysis using tools such as CAESARII and coordinate with structural and mechanical teams forresolution of interface issues.Preparetechnical specifications for piping components valves supports andspecialty items.Liaise with procurement andconstruction teams to ensure deliverability and constructability ofdesigns.Conduct site surveys and interfacemeetings as required to support offshore designvalidation.Participate in design reviews(e.g. HAZOP model reviews) and incorporate comments/resolutionsinto final deliverables.Support thedevelopment of material take-offs (MTOs) weight control estimatesand piping class specifications.Mentor juniorengineers and support technical troubleshooting during the designphase.KEYQUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering orequivalent.Minimum 8-12 years of relevantexperience in the oil and gas sector with a significant focus onoffshore projects.Proven track record in Detailed Engineering for offshore piping systems.Proficiency in piping design software tools such as Auto CAD Plant 3D Smart Plant PDMS/E3D and CAESAR II.Strong understanding of offshore codes and standards(e.g. DNV ISO API).Experience with FEED and EPC phases is highly desirable.Excellentcommunication coordination and problem-solving skills.Prior experience working in or with engineering teams inthe Middle East is preferred.Professional Engineering License (PE or equivalent)Offshore Survival (BOSIET) beneficial but notmandatory Project Management or Technical Training Certifications a plus VERTICALENGINEERINGKey Skills Edp,Desktop Support,CAD,E Learning,Cardiac Anesthesia Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
