Description
Actively support Sales in the development of Technical and Execution strategies and in selecting key resources for new prospects and proposals to secure and deliver future work. Demonstrate behaviors and business practices aligned with a culture of world-class health, safety, and environmental performance. Ensure close collaboration between the Location, Region, and Global disciplines to deliver world-class services and solutions to our customers and industry. Promote best practices, continuous improvement initiatives, and the sharing of lessons learned across all Projects within the Location. Ensure effective resource allocation at the location to optimize talent development and explore opportunities for inter-office collaboration and support. Drive the implementation of new company processes, systems, and capability enhancements across projects. Maintain a modern mindset towards engineering and design services, focusing on innovation and adoption of the latest advancements. Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to develop a high-performance culture and unlock opportunities for our people. Show a keen interest in people development, recognizing its critical role in the success of Avenir, our customers, and individuals. Qualifications include a university degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline, with typically 15+ years of relevant experience, recognized as a functional expert. Possess excellent people management skills, including leadership, team management, interpersonal skills, coaching, mentoring, and supervision. Ability to make difficult decisions and lead/manage others through changing business conditions. Extensive technical, practical, and leadership experience in engineering and design. Desired Candidate Profile: Minimum 15 years of business development experience, specifically in the UAE. At least 10+ years of industry experience in hydrocarbons. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and awareness of sales software. Excellent leadership and communication skills with a high level of customer focus. Strong network of customer contacts and knowledge of tender processes, ICV, and oil & gas basics. Good contacts within ADNOC and with EPC contractors. Ability to make sales presentations and willingness to travel within and outside the UAE.
