Job Overview As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients, managing existing retail banking relationships, and promoting the bank s financial products and services. You will play a key role in account planning, customer engagement, cross-selling, and ensuring service excellence across all client touchpoints.Key Responsibilities* Acquire new customers by identifying needs, proposing tailored banking solutions, and coordinating with product teams* Develop and execute account plans for portfolio clients, ensuring regular engagement and proactive service delivery* Maintain in-depth knowledge of clients accounts, product usage, and financial activity to provide personalized advice and offerings* Build long-term relationships and act as the primary point of contact for all account-related services and escalations* Conduct regular client meetings to discuss financial needs, introduce new products, and explore cross-sell opportunities* Monitor account activity, ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management standards, and uphold operational controls* Collaborate with internal departments (Risk, Legal, Operations, Technology) to deliver a seamless customer experience* Stay informed about market trends, customer behaviors, and regulatory changes to adapt relationship strategies accordingly* Achieve personal performance targets and contribute to team goals on acquisition, retention, and customer satisfaction* Support continuous self-development through FAB training and external certifications as required Job Requirements* Minimum 5 years of experience in retail customer relationship management within the banking sector* Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or a related field* Mandatory certifications: SCA (CISI Level 3) and UAE Rules & Regulations* Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a customer-centric mindset* Knowledge of retail banking products, account operations, and financial advisory practices* Proficient in account planning, client acquisition, and portfolio management* Ability to manage multiple client relationships while delivering quality service and cross-sell performance* Self-motivated and goal-driven with strong attention to detail and regulatory compliance Company Industry Banking Broking Department / Functional Area Finance Treasury Keywords Relationship Manager Retail Banking Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
