Service Advisor

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Service Advisor (Female) who listens to our customer’s description of car trouble, asks follow-up questions to better assess the problem, inspects the vehicle, determines the source of the issue and provides suggestions for the best ways to fix the vehicle.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Greet and welcome customers as they enter our premises.Ask customers to explain specific vehicle issues.Take detailed notes about symptoms based on customer testimony on Job Order.Inspect vehicle exterior and interior for scratches and damage before entering the workshop.Enter customer information in Job Order and into the system database.Inspect vehicle to further analyze the problem.Advise customers on necessary repairs and maintenance.Work with customers to formulate the best service plan for their budget and needs.Assist mechanics in completing repairs.Provide cost estimates to customers.Answer questions posed by customers.Maintain electronic and/or paper records of completed service work.Explain the work completed by mechanics and make suggestions for future maintenance.Provide billing statements and explain billing details.Inspect work completed by mechanics.Before delivery, check the vehicle to ensure it is clean and tidy.Maintain good relations with customers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
