Pharmacist

Responsibilities: Ensure appropriate insurance claim documentation and approval from the network provider in place before dispensing medicine.Coordinate with the network provider for the approval. In case any medicines are not approved, inform the patient about the scenario and additional waiting time required.Dispense medicines accurately in line with prescriptions and approved insurance claims to the patient whilst ensuring minimum waiting time for the patient.Educate the patient/patient family on method and timing of taking medication.Update the patient/patient family for medicines that are not covered by insurance and offer paid options to purchase the required medications.Stock & Items Expiry Management: Assist the pharmacy in charge in preparing the indents list for the required medicines for the pharmacy.Ensure control and semi-control medicines are maintained with an updated register.Conduct checks on the expiry of medicines in the area assigned to ensure that no expired medicines are kept in the pharmacy.Customer Service: Supervise the staff to ensure they provide excellent customer service.Ensure customer complaints are dealt with efficiently according to company policy. #J-18808-Ljbffr
