Accountant - Logistics/ Cargo

Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.Accounts Management: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.Monitor and analyze financial discrepancies and provide resolutions.Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial laws.Maintain proper documentation for audit purposes.Cost Analysis: Perform cost analysis and provide insights for cost-saving opportunities.Prepare cost reports and analyze variances.Collaborate with the operations team to optimize financial performance.Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate journal entries.Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes.Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all financial information.Implement and maintain effective financial controls.Review and enhance financial policies and procedures.Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data.Work closely with the logistics and operations teams to understand financial impacts.Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc financial projects and analysis.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Application Question: Can you join immediately?Experience: Logistics/ Cargo accountant: 3 years (Required) #J-18808-Ljbffr
