Description
Coordinate health and safety systems in Mai Dubai. Identify hazards, assess risks to health and safety, put appropriate safety controls in place and provide advice about accident prevention and occupational health to the HSE Manager and employees.Assist development, implementation, communication and coordination of all environmental, health, and safety policies and programs for Mai Dubai.Responsibilities: Inspect workplaces and workplace equipment to ensure they meet safety regulations and to identify hazards and risks.Work with engineers and other professionals to ensure the safety of production lines as per OEM recommendations and work practices.Ensure personal protective equipment (such as hearing protection, dust masks, safety glasses, footwear, and safety helmets) is being used in workplaces according to regulations.Ensure dangerous materials are correctly stored.Record and report hazards, accidents, injuries, and health issues within the workplace.Provide medical support in case of accidents (First Aid).Assist with the investigation of accidents and unsafe working conditions, study possible causes, and recommend remedial action.Coordinate emergency procedures, mine rescues, firefighting, and first aid crews.Assist employees in conducting risk analyses, as required, in addition to the Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) of existing task processes.Assist in continuously updating the MSDS database and inform individuals concerning the introduction of new chemicals in the work areas, ensuring MSDS is communicated.Assist in building and maintaining an environmental system compliant with ISO 14001 requirements.Monitor, record, and analyze environmental parameters such as noise, temperature, humidity, CO, and CO2 to ensure compliance with local regulations.Assist in the implementation of HSE programs and continuous improvement-related initiatives.Attend minor and major contracting works to ensure contractor compliance with local regulations in addition to the SWP issued to them.Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications & Training: Diploma Degree in a related field or certification in an HSE related field (NEBOSH, OSHA, BS, OHSAS 18001, etc).Experience: Minimum 0—2 years' experience.Knowledge: Has good knowledge in: Local Regulations (DM, DCD, etc.)Energy and Environmental Standards NFPA Related standards OSHA, NEBOSH, etc.Skills: Ability To: Be tactful and diplomatic.Work independently or as part of a team.Exhibit good interpersonal skills.Maintain discretion and respect for confidentiality and privacy.Demonstrate integrity and honesty.Be HSE oriented, positive, a problem solver, and reasonable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
