Description
Job Responsibilities Releasing of Die-Cutting & Finishing plans on a daily basis with targets.Reporting unachieved daily production targets.Coordination between Production & Sales to meet delivery requirements.Proper updating & maintenance of Production Online Plan.Proper utilization of all machinery.Maximize Production Optimization.Coordinating with production supervisors regarding the production plan.Follow up with support departments for requirements (Availability of Die, Embossing / Hot Foiling Blocks / raw material / manpower, etc.).Minimize production overtime while maximizing output.Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports.Full control of die-cutting & finishing plan.Monitoring of print plan & coordination with Print Manager.100% optimization of die-cutting & finishing machines.Strict Surveillance for deviations & discrepancies on daily plans.Daily target for die-cutting & finishing.Work study on reducing the make ready time.Inquiry from supervisors regarding loss of production and make ready time.Provide delivery dates to sales department as per the fixed print plan.Strict follow up for the given delivery dates.Update sales department regarding any pending jobs as required.Sending of Production load & delivery lead time daily to sales department.TIMELY JOB FUNCTIONS & ERRANDSDevelops planning studies and reports in support of new and updated plans, programs, and regulations.Reviews or assists in the review of planned workload and supplies necessary data to support assumptions.Assists in controlling, organizing, and monitoring the flow of materials.Assists the production planners in drawing up the master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation.Ensures shipping dates are met according to sales forecasts or customer perspectives.Reports to planning manager on all aspects of planning-related concerns.Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times.Plans the sequence of assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.Confers with department supervisors to determine the status of assigned projects.Checks schedules, confirms product specifications, arranges adjustments, and monitors product quality.Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.Checks the accuracy and viability of product specifications.Allocates, distributes, and checks work with available staff.Improves processes and cost-efficiency.Recommends changes and improvements.Ensures deadlines are met.Analyzes all Raw Materials / Auxiliary Material in-house (board, paper, varnish, ink, etc.).Identifies applications of each material.Segregates all material types into Fast Moving, Slow Moving, and non-moving categories.Highlights management about material shortages against the given forecast.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEDiploma in Printing Technology or equivalent.Minimum 3 years experience in Production / Material Planning or 5 years supervisory experience in the printing & packaging industry. #J-18808-Ljbffr
