Job Title: Instrumentation Engineer Location: UAE, Abu Dhabi Project: Various Saipem Projects Job Mission Perform technical tasks assigned by the Instrumentation Discipline Lead, including design, checking, layout definition, installation drawings, material definition, validation, testing, and engineering of process measuring sensors, process actuators, installation elements, and process safety elements. Interface and coordinate with other Project Team Specialists and Designers. Coordinate technical activities performed either by insourcing or outsourcing. Job Responsibilities Review client technical documentation and requirements. Coordinate subcontracted engineering activities and control subcontracted engineering documents. Define engineering design basis and guidelines. Prepare technical documentation for instrumentation elements, material, and services requisitions, and conduct technical evaluations. Provide technical support to the project team. Optimize instrumentation design for minimal cost and complexity, ensuring compliance with contractual and safety requirements. Prepare instrumentation technical specifications, data sheets, installation specifications, drawings, BOQs, and MTOs. Validate vendor control valves and safety valves sizing calculations, as well as measurement elements sizing calculations. Coordinate engineering activities and ensure proper 3D modeling design activities. Participate in F.A.T. activities and vendor workshops.
