Description
Responsibilities: Supports HSE Manager to implement the company & client approved project HSE Plan & Policies & procedures, providing assistance with on-site health and safety issues as required.Develop site Health & Safety culture.Preparing Risk Assessment & JSA and its management.Conduct new employee orientations and file documents.Conduct a daily tour of the working areas and log details of the observations on the Daily Observation Register.Ensure that all non-routine and potentially hazardous routine jobs are carried out under the permit to work system with associated complimentary certificates.Report unsafe conditions and unsafe acts immediately.Identify hazards, control, and prevention, and present findings in weekly construction meetings.Investigate all accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and preparing reports with findings and corrective actions.Conduct Health & Safety trainings, weekly meetings, campaigns, award functions, and drills.Conduct weekly walk rounds with consultants and subcontractors for better improvement of HSE.Prepare monthly/weekly statistics reports.Prepare and present HSSE performance review at month-end.Implement and monitor Fire Prevention System.Aim for target zero accident performance.Develop and implement emergency response procedures.Verify that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use.Educate workers and ensure that tools, machinery, and equipment are in proper working order and well arranged.Requirements: NEBOSH Certified Diploma/Bachelor's in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical or relevant field Minimum of 2 years of experience as a safety officer in the construction/rope access industry.Thorough knowledge of local safety regulations, codes, and standards.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate safety requirements to diverse audiences.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
