Project Engineer / Project Coordinator (Mechanical Engineer)

PROJ-ENG3Location: U.A.EResponsibilities: Coordinate all technical activities on assigned projects.Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate the project scope.Monitor work for compliance with client and class standards, applicable codes, and accepted engineering practices.Ensure effective communication and coordination among clients, disciplines, and project participants.Participate in client/contractor meetings and resolve project issues.Develop project schedules and forecasts.Coordinate and check final deliverables.Prepare project status reports and change orders.Ensure the successful completion and quality of projects.Review non-conformities from safety audits and site visits, and undertake corrective actions to improve health, safety, and environmental management systems.Monitor and develop supervisory skills in subordinates.Train site technicians in multiple skills.Support site supervisors with material and equipment planning.Experience & Skills: Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance projects within the Marine, Oil & Gas industry.Strong knowledge of manpower planning, scheduling, and execution of mechanical maintenance jobs (e.g., painting, blasting).Experience in monitoring work progress, quality assurance, and documentation.Proven ability in material & equipment planning, coordination, and project reporting.Familiarity with site-level HR issue resolution.Project management skills: risk management, budget management, time management.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Experience in painting and blasting jobs is preferred.Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.Certifications: Bgas, NACE certifications preferred.Languages: Fluent in English and Hindi.License: Valid UAE driving license; proficient in driving a four-wheeler.To apply, email hr@aimmsgroup.com with the job code in the subject line.
