Responsibilities include establishing relationships with consolidators for negotiations, securing exclusive distribution rights in the UAE, selecting reliable suppliers, and collaborating with category management and merchandising teams on product assortment, pricing, and promotions. The role also involves monitoring market trends, analyzing competitor activities, managing import logistics and customs, and analyzing sales performance to optimize profitability.Job Responsibilities Oversee the entire import process for timely and cost-effective delivery.Ensure compliance with customs regulations, tariffs, and industry standards, including documentation such as permits and licenses.Manage inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.Track and control costs related to shipping, duties, and taxes.Resolve issues related to shipments, damage, or regulatory compliance efficiently.Assess and mitigate risks like political instability or supply chain disruptions.Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.Prepare reports on shipments, costs, and inventory for management.Source and evaluate power brands to strengthen the product portfolio.Negotiate with consolidators and brand owners for favorable terms and exclusive rights.Collaborate with internal teams on product assortment, pricing, and promotions.Monitor market trends and competitor activities for growth opportunities.Coordinate import logistics including documentation and customs clearance.Analyze sales data and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly.Categories Health & Beauty Light Household - Textile Additional Details Seniority Level: Entry level Employment Type: Full-time Job Function: Marketing and Sales Industry: Retail #J-18808-Ljbffr
