Manager - Insurance

We are committed to driving operational excellence and achieving sustainable growth.Position Overview: The Manager, Insurance will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s insurance strategy, policies, and programs across all jurisdictions. This role requires extensive industry relations, experience in asset-heavy industries, and preferably previous experience in the data center industry. The position will act as the central coordinator for the UAE, Op Co, and International business.Key Responsibilities: Insurance Program Management: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive insurance programs to protect the organization’s assets and mitigate risks.Evaluate and recommend appropriate coverage options, including property, liability, business interruption, and specialty insurance.Industry Relations: Leverage existing industry relationships to negotiate favorable terms and premiums with brokers, carriers, and underwriters.Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging risks to ensure alignment with best practices.Risk Assessment and Analysis: Conduct risk assessments for existing and new operations, projects, and assets.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.Claims Management: Oversee the claims process, ensuring timely and accurate filing, negotiation, and resolution.Serve as the primary point of contact for insurance carriers and adjusters.Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual insurance requirements.Prepare and present reports on insurance coverage, claims, and risk mitigation strategies to senior leadership.Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure comprehensive insurance coverage and risk management.Qualifications: Extensive industry relations and experience in asset-heavy industries.Previous experience in the data center industry is an added advantage.Strong background in insurance strategy, risk management, and policy development.Proven ability to manage insurance programs and claims processes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Specific Qualifications/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.Professional certifications such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), or Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).Minimum of 10 years of experience in insurance management, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.In-depth knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.Strategic thinking with a focus on long-term risk mitigation.Ability to work collaboratively across functions and levels.Adaptability to a fast-paced and evolving business environment.High attention to detail and organizational skills.Seniority level Seniority level Not Applicable Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Consulting Industries Real Estate and Real Estate and Equipment Rental Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Khazna Data Centers by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Insurance Manager” roles.Finance & Insurance Manager
