Electrical Engineer job in Dubai, United Arab Emirates Job Summary The Electrical Engineer shall provide complete design services including power load determination, exterior electrical, interior electrical, and site lighting designs.Principal Accountabilities Performs design work for new construction, renovations, and improvement projects for real property facilities.Interprets and adapts traditional methods and approaches in developing design calculations, layouts, drawings, and specifications that support project objectives and standards.Responsible for selected construction inspections, quality control, and submittal reviews beyond the expertise of construction managers.Develops cost estimates and schedules, reviews and analyzes preliminary and final designs, plans, and specifications for technical efficiency and adequacy.Prepares correspondence, technical reports, contract documents, fact sheets, and status reports; prepares final construction drawings for bidding.Monitors and manages projects for new construction, renovations, and improvements, utilizing professional engineering knowledge.Ensures correct and efficient execution of electrical system installations, removals, inspections, maintenance, and repairs.Supervises and coordinates activities of workers involved in electrical assembly, installation, and repair.Coordinates with other trades and instills a cooperative attitude within the electrical staff.May perform actual maintenance and repair work when needed.Complies with health, safety, and environmental rules to ensure a safe work environment.Performs other qualified duties as assigned.Knowledge & Skills Familiar with local/applicable electrical codes and standards.Capable of complete design services including power distribution, load determination, and lighting.Knowledge of Design Review, Project Mobilization, Quality Compliance, QA, Safety, Project Controls, and Capture Management.Proficient in Auto CAD 2012 or later; capable of creating accurate plans for project execution.Computer literate with skills in Microsoft Office and Project.Experience & Education Licensed professional electrical engineer (PE) license in the US highly preferred.Minimum of 5 years of design experience.Experience with Auto CAD software.Experience with project development, contracting, and construction documents.Physical Requirements/Working Environment Remote and potentially uncomfortable living and working conditions.Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.Ability to travel domestically and internationally.This job posting appears to be active and relevant, with no indications of expiration or closure. #J-18808-Ljbffr
