Assistant, Associate, Full Professor - Family Medicine

Job Description The Department of Family Medicine at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAE University, invites applications for a full-time faculty position.We are looking for a candidate who is passionate, dedicated to teaching, committed to research, and eager to make a meaningful impact on students, patients, families, and the community.The successful candidate will be responsible for undergraduate teaching, particularly in the Family Medicine clerkship, clinical skills training, and medical student assessment. Clinical duties at the consultant level will be provided at affiliated AHS SEHA outpatient clinics. The candidate is expected to engage in clinical and/or laboratory-based research in collaboration with CMHS faculty and clinical colleagues in affiliated hospitals. Opportunities for international research collaborations are available and encouraged. The role also includes active participation in educational and administrative functions within the college, including committee service.Research is a key expectation, and candidates should demonstrate prior scholarly activity with publications in peer-reviewed journals. The college offers strong institutional support for research, including access to funding, technical assistance, and collaborative networks.Minimum Qualification Candidates for this position must have: An MD or MBBS degree Completed advanced postgraduate training in Family Medicine Prior undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience Certification/Fellowship (or equivalent) from North America, Australasia, or Europe A strong record of scholarly activity, including publications in internationally recognized journals Training in medical education and research is preferred Preferred Qualificationas above Expected Skills Familiarity with USMLE, Canadian Qualifying Examinations, and accreditation of graduate medical programs.Certification/Fellowship in North America, Australasia, Europe A strong track record in curriculum design, course oversight, and student supervision Expertise in Family Medicine research, with the ability to advance knowledge in the field Company Industry Education Training Teaching Department / Functional Area Teaching Education Keywords Assistant Associate Full Professor - Family Medicine #J-18808-Ljbffr
