AP/IBDP Computer Science Teachers - Aug 2025Join to apply for the AP/IBDP Computer Science Teachers - Aug 2025 role at GEMS Education Position Overview: We are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Computer Science Teachers experienced in teaching AP/IB DP to join our dedicated team from August 2025.This is an exciting opportunity for educators passionate about Computer Science education who are eager to contribute to our students' academic success.Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and interactive Computer Science lessons following the school's curriculum and standards.Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to inspire a love for computer science and foster critical thinking.Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.Ensure continuity in curriculum delivery.Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.Foster an inclusive classroom culture encouraging curiosity and exploration.Participate in parent-teacher conferences and communicate with parents about student progress.Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor of Education degree or an initial degree with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, PGDE) in Computer Science/ICT.Proven experience teaching Computer Science at high school level, preferably within an American/IB curriculum.Strong knowledge of inquiry-based and hands-on Computer Science education.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.A desire for continuous improvement and delivering outstanding teaching experiences.Additional Notes: Interviews will be conducted face-to-face or via Zoom.
