Job Summary: The XML Developer is responsible for the development, maintenance, and coordination of e Invoicing data dictionaries and XML schemas, ensuring compliance with Open Peppol standards and local regulations for e Invoicing project. The role requires experience with electronic data interchange (EDI) systems. The developer will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate efficient and compliant e Invoicing processes. Key Responsibilities: Data Dictionary Management: • Understand and maintain the e Invoicing data dictionary, ensuring it aligns with Open Peppol specifications and local e Invoicing requirements.• Collaborate with Open Peppol to develop and refine the data dictionary, incorporating changes and updates as necessary.• Version control and release management of the data dictionary in consultation with Mo F and Open Peppol. XML Schema Development: • Design and implement XML schemas for e Invoicing, ensuring they are compliant with the data dictionary and support efficient invoice processing.• Validate and test XML schemas to ensure accuracy and functionality.• Implement local endpoint using AS4 protocol with Open Peppol support. Open Peppol Coordination: • Coordinate with Open Peppol efforts to maintain and develop the data dictionary.• Stay informed about updates to Peppol standards and implement necessary changes to internal systems. Integration and Compliance: • Work with stakeholders to integrate e Invoicing systems with the organization's infrastructure, ensuring seamless data exchange and compliance with local regulations.• Manage XML-related aspects of the accreditation process for new Peppol Service Providers. Technical Documentation: • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for e Invoicing XML schemas, data dictionaries, and related processes.• Generate reports and documentation for management, outlining activities, tasks, and compliance metrics. Technical Support and Troubleshooting: • Provide expert technical support to internal teams and external partners regarding e Invoicing XML and data dictionary issues.• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems to ensure uninterrupted e Invoicing data dictionary operations. Training and Knowledge Sharing: • Educate stakeholders on the technical aspects of e Invoicing, promoting best practices and efficient use of the data dictionary and XML schemas.• Conduct workshops. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 10+ years of hands-on experience with XML, XSD, XSLT, XPath and Schematron or other programming languages. Knowledge of AS4 protocol. Experience with data dictionaries and EDI systems. Business knowledge of e Invoicing or VAT systems or Invoice systems. Experience in interacting with various stakeholder groups across organizations. Prior experience with e Invoicing implementations is an added value.
